Source Festival 2011: Full-Length Play Submissions

Congratulations on being invited to submit a full-length play to the 2011 Source Festival. The three playwrights whose scripts are selected will receive a $500 stipend, a development workshop in Washington, DC (March 18-20, 2011) and a fully staged production of their play at the 2011 Source Festival (June 11-July 3, 2011).

Submission takes just two easy steps:

1) Complete the application form below & click "submit"

2) Email your script to SourceFestival@CulturalDC.org. (The title of your play should be the subject line of the email.)

You must complete both of these steps to be eligible for the 2011 Source Fesival. No unattended scripts or forms will be accepted.

Eligibility Requirements:

* Plays may not have been previously produced or published.

* Playwrights may submit only one full-length play.

*Plays must be submitted in PDF format.

* Plays must reasonably be expected to run between 1 and 2 1/2 hours when fully produced, inclusive of any proposed intermission.

* Playwrights must be based in the United States. We are not currently accepting international submissions.

*Submissions must be received by midnight EST October 15, 2010.
