tell it

In the end, though, the group came around to the idea of telling whatever your story is in whatever way you want. One of my favorite comments was this: “You don’t have to make everyone happy. Jesus was crucified. I’m going to have some opposition. Why do I need everyone to love me?” As we wrapped up the day and moved onto the next steps, the group came back together around sentiments like that, around the idea of going where you’re loved, wherever that is and knowing what you know. And doing your work. Always doing your work.
