a troubling binary i wish didn't exist

I do think that media coverage of outed politicians does play into bisexual invisibility in some ways. When these stories get written about, there is an assumption of a sexual orientation binary; an assumption that the world is divided into Gay and Straight, and that anyone having sex with same-sex partners must by default fall into the Gay category. That’s the assumption that gets made in almost every media story written about sexual orientation; it’s no surprise that it gets made in stories about right-wing homophobic politicians who turn out to be closet cases. And it’s a troubling and fucked-up assumption, which does perpetuate the idea that there’s no such thing as bisexuals.

Precious One

Precious one: We meet again. Why do you wonder what is next?
Each stage will unfold with grace and ease based upon the stage which was set previously. Do you see?? The only way your goals can be fulfilled as you desire is to bless them and let them go. Do not allow worry to abide between accomplishments. Be easy with your next step. It may take a little longer for it to show as a success, but it is coming. One tiny GENTLE step and then another. You will find that this will form a foundation of ease and sweetness. You must let go of the struggle. If you insist on struggle for your progress, each time you move forward you will only have struggle once again. The emotional foundation of today sets the stage for the activities of tomorrow.
The moment you accept that joy may be a part of the journey ahead, and acknowledge each little victory made with joy, the next step will attract joy again. Joy itself is magnetic dear one. Remaining in a state of happiness radiates to the world that you are ready to receive. It says you are worthy!
We have always seen you as worthy. We are here with you.

life is like the surf so give yourself away like the sea

be careful what you wish for.
Have I gone mad?

I'm afraid so. Entirely bonkers. But I have to tell you a secret. Only the best people are...
